Ways To Kill a Vampire

I would just like to say that this isn’t a professional guide or anything like that. It’s basically a rant on my perspective on ways of killing a vampire. This is the first time I ever did this kind of stuff; so here I go.

1. Stakes: If you’ve read Dracula or anything related to vampires, the most common, old-fashioned way to kill a vampire is to take a wooden stake and pierce it in the vampire’s heart. This can be done when the vampire is sleeping in it’s grave or coffin. Day time is highly recommended for they prefer to stay out of contact with the sun. They sleep mostly in crypts since they lack any form of sunlight.

2. Beheading: In most later cases, beheading a vampire became another method to kill a vampire. Highly recommend sharpening the blade to a razors edge. Axe is more preferable for it is made mostly to chop and slice. However, you can also use special axes made for stabbing and other forms as well.

3. Sunlight: I never understood why sunlight can kill a vampire. If the vampire is out in the daytime they are weak and if in direct contact with the sun they will burn and turn to ash. (P.S. Feel free to comment on why vampires can’t stand sunlight)

4. Silver?: How did silver become the new vampire killer? Isn’t silver supposed to be for werewolves? However, I have read on the line somewhere that most monsters other than the werewolf can be killed with silver. Which is lame to me for a feel silver is more preferable for the werewolf. Basically, you take any kind of silver that you can find, smelt it into a bullet, then shoot the vampire in the heart with the silver bullet.

5. Holy water: You probably know that vampires are undead monsters, but they are also considered to be spawns straight from Hell. And the forces of Hell are challenged by the mighty power of God and Heaven. Anyway, the simple thing to do is to get some water, have a priest bless the water then just throw it at the vampire. It’ll burn the vampire like acid.

6. Regular water: There’s nothing really much to say about this on really. It’s pointless and stupid anyway. Works just like holy water, that’s about it.

Can you think of other ways to kill a vampire? Leave a comment and tell me. That’s just about it from what I know. I can probably already guess this isn’t the best thing I’ve written. It looks very unprofessional to me. Maybe you can do better than me.
It's short, unprofessional, and nothing to great about. It's mostly from what I know. Don't forget to comment; oh and also, I am still looking for suggestions for futer chapters in A Blood Moon's Dawn. Comment me for any suggestions, then I'll think into it.

the reason why water is supposed to work is because, water is a symbol of purity and heaven, and vampires are a bad and unclean, not pure and a disease. which is why water hurt them. to me this sounds like bs, like garlic. if anything i`d say it`s more like an allergy.
